Dear Parents and Carers
Thank you for all your support throughout an exceptional term.
For those of you who celebrated Eid on Friday - we hope you had great celebrations with your family and your community and are looking forward to welcoming all pupils back tomorrow for the final three days of normal school.
I am delighted that Thursday's strikes have been cancelled and that Explorational Day will be going ahead as originally planned. Full details of the start and finish time for Exploration Day are below.
A reminder that we will be finishing at around 12.40 on Friday for pupils in Years 7-10. Please ensure that your child goes straight home after dismissal and changes out of their school uniform.
We look forward to seeing all pupils return at the normal time on Tuesday 14th April and wish you all a very happy Easter.
I hope you enjoy the remainder of the weekend.
Mr Neuberger
This Week's Highlights
Year 7 and Year 8 Girls Netball v. Ealing Fields
The Year 7 and Year 8 Girls Netball teams competed against Ealing Fields this past week. Although the match resulted in a defeat, the girls showed great tenacity and resilience. Riya and Livia were named Players of the Match!
Cross Country
Ark Soane Cross Country had some great successes this past week at the Ark Cross Country Competition! Noa came 5th in the girl's race and Mahamed came 4th in the boy's race! Our girls came 3rd as a team and received bronze medals. The boys closely missed out, coming 4th overall. Well done all around!
STEM Club
STEM Club has been having a lot of fun this last week dissecting daffodils and observing pollen and ovules. What an intellectually curious group of young scientists!
Year 7 Boys Football
Despite missing 3 starts, the Year 7 Boys Football team put up a great fight against Greenford, losing 3-1. Yazan had a great debut, Anwar scored our goal, and David & Ahquel filled in with great teamwork as makeshift goalkeepers!
Notices
Henna
If your child had henna applied for Eid, they may continue to wear it this week. However, henna must not be worn when students return to school after the holiday.
Exploration Day – Thursday 26th Mar
As you may have seen, planned industrial action by RMT on the tube has now been called off. Very excitingly, this means that our Exploration Day trips can take place once more!
Please see trips for Years 7-10, arrival times, and estimated return times below. Year 11 will be based onsite all day. The office will send texts if any trip is delayed returning to school:

End of Term Timings
Years 7-10 students will be dismissed at 12:40pm this Friday. Year 11 students will be dismissed at the later time of 2:45pm to ensure they are fully prepared for their Easter holiday revision.
Attendance
A reminder that all students must return to school on Tuesday 14th April. Students with strong attendance (97–100%) achieve significantly higher results in exams than those with lower attendance. All students have exams in the summer term, so it is essential that no learning time is missed except in cases of serious illness or other exceptional circumstances.
